Part two of a series exploring the history of the people and ideas behind what became known as Thatcherism.

  • @Texfield91 To be honest, they were caused by both the union bosses & Mrs Thatcher.

  • @AidanLunn the deep socila divisions were caused by the class warfare socialist union bosses, not Mrs.Thatcher.

  • @kubaniski Exactly! When you understand the rise of Thatcherism in Britain, you understand the rise of Reaganomics here.

  • @Kozzy06 A fine lady and wonderful PM does not create such deep social divisions and introduce such regressive policies such as Section 28 and the poll Tax.

  • @AidanLunn She constantly gets voted the best PM after Churchill in polls, she is 'hated' only by those with the loudest voices, the majority of people have huge respect for her.

Fine lady and a wonderful PM.

  • @promisedeyes They used the song because that is the view of many members of the public, not the BBC.

Anyway, this was made by Mentorn, so Mentorn used it, not the BBC.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... the BBC uses the song "Evil Woman" to depict Margaret Thatcher, how crass!

  • there are so many parallels between 1970's Britain and Modern America

  • Notice the gesture used by the unionists (and many socialist groups) the closed fist.

  • Jack Dromey - The first male to win on an all woman short-list.. Says it all really. What an odious man.
