Kalam-e-Iqbal by Sanam Marvi - parishan ho ke meri khaak

No doubt Mehdi hassan's version of this ghazal is most beautiful but Sanam marvi also sung it beautifully.
This tune will not new to kalam-e-Iqbal listeners because Ali Raza's Digargoon hai jahan is also on same tune.But suits this ghazal too.

پريشاں کاروبار آشنائي
پريشاں تر مري رنگيں نوائي!
کبھي ميں ڈھونڈتا ہوں لذت وصل
خوش آتا ہے کبھي سوز جدائي

پريشاں ہوکے ميري خاک آخر دل نہ بن جائے
جو مشکل اب ہے يارب پھر وہي مشکل نہ بن جائے
نہ کر ديں مجھ کو مجبور نوا فردوس ميں حوريں
مرا سوز دروں پھر گرمي محفل نہ بن جائے
کبھي چھوڑي ہوئي منزل بھي ياد آتي ہے راہي کو
کھٹک سي ہے ، جو سينے ميں ، غم منزل نہ بن جائے
بنايا عشق نے دريائے ناپيدا کراں مجھ کو
يہ ميري خود نگہداري مرا ساحل نہ بن جائے
کہيں اس عالم بے رنگ و بو ميں بھي طلب ميري
وہي افسانہ دنبالہ محمل نہ بن جائے
عروج آدم خاکي سے انجم سہمے جاتے ہيں
کہ يہ ٹوٹا ہوا تارا مہ کامل نہ بن جائے




Confused is the nature of my love for Thee,
And more confused is my song in Thy praise;
For I sometimes do relish fulfilment,
At other times, a yearning in my heart.

If my scattered dust turns into a heart again,
It may pulsate again with the passions of the past.
If the nymphs of paradise entice me to sing,
The Fire within my heart will again warm their spirits.
Love has made me an ocean, boundless, fathomless,
But my self—awareness may change me into a shore.
In the world beyond, I fear lest my quest
May turn into a futile chase, a chase without an end.
Man's rise has awakened jealous fear in the angels,
Lest this eclipsed star should one day become a full moon

kabhi chhoRi hoi manzil bhi yaad aati hai raahi ko
Khatak si jo hai seenay main ' gham e manzil na ban jaye
banaya ishaq ne dariya-e-na paida karaaN mujh ko
yeh meri khud nigehdaari mera saahil na ban jaye
urooj-e-adam-e-khaki se anjum sehme jate hein
ke yeh toota howa tara mahe-e-kamil na ban jaye

First time I listen this nazm and I liked it specially in the voice of Marvi. Marvi you are great you can make anything to be listen. I have listen so many singers but you have very unique style. Some peoples who have nothing to do with Gaiki they are talking shit about you, those peoples are ignorant like this guy below Gujar 6710. Just ignore those ignorants. You are doing great job.
