@tulycreme It was called "Shattered", the 11th episode of the 7th season. It is one of my favorite episodes and a very good Star Trek episode overall. They (the writers) just chose a really weird tone to end it on. That's why I felt compelled to write a fanfic to fix it!

If you think about it not everthing in the holideck in unreal. for example, they aren't naked when they leave are they? So, whos to say that the paper was holigraphic paper?

But they aren't naked when they leave because their clothes came with them from outside the holodeck. It's safe to assume that the quill pen and INK janeway was using was holographic because she left them when she exited the holodeck. The suggestion was that the paper was holographic as well, but of course you are right, she could have replicated it outside of the holodeck and brought it with her. But at the very least, the ink would have disappeared from the paper when she exited.

Just your standard Windows Movie Maker.

Nothing fancy. It's pretty primative actually. I just got Sony Vegas movie studio and I'm still learning how to use it, but it's SO much better than WMM.

Janeway and Chakotay.. Uhm, I've always thought that they shuould be together ! Janeway is my favourite character at all !

why why WHY could they not have gotten together??? they were so perfect for each other.... i love your stories though, i was soooooooo frusterated in that episode Shattered, i was litteraly screaming at the tv for chakotay to KISS HER ALREADY!!!! well actaully ive sreamed that at the tv in a number of episodes... anyway thanks for the video!

HAHA, 1:16 - 1:36 I watched that episode the other day and i was thinkin the same thing. Did the paper dissapear when she walked out of the holodeck? LOL. But then again, on TNG "Farpoint" Wesley Crusher comes out of the holodeck all wet. and... I barely remembr but i think there was an episode where, when passing the holodeck, Captain Picard was hit by a holographic snowball. LOL Man, they really screwed up, they should have thought it through.

If they were on the Maquis ship, it wouldn't have mattered who was in command. They'd all have been killed so easily by the Kazon. Maquis ships suck.
