Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) National Spokesperson Kelly Jean Drury shares what it means to people like herself who are living with lupus to finally have a new drug approved for the treatment of lupus. A former model and actress, Kelly is now a fulltime mom and working with the LFA to help increase awareness of lupus and the need for a full arsenal of new, safe, more tolerable and effective treatments for lupus.

  • as with all auto-immune medications, there is a great risk of developing cancer. So, before anyone begins a medicine regiment, talk over the risks and benefits with your Dr. Make sure that your benefit outweighs the risk.
