It is always good to wax and scrape your board a couple of times before you take it out that way you increase it's capability of absorbing wax. Then wax it regularly when you are using it to maintain it's wax absorbing and releasing properties. A good tip is to put your base under a hot shower before waxing to open up the pores. hope that helps. Happy waxing!

What about edge tuning? I own a Bataleon Goliath and I'm unsure as to what angles to use. What are the factory base and side edge angles? Is it a problem to change them?

@atros13 Edge tuning is the same as other boards. You can leave them aggressive or you can make em less by taking of some angle. Most riders like a bit less like 2 degrees of the base side... but you can do what ever you like. Once you lift the board past its max tbt angle of 3 degrees you have full edge contact like any other board. So the edges will behave the same as any other board at this point...
