Yeah, Jerry Reed was an excellent actor in addition to his guitar ability. He was one of those rare, multi-talented people. He deserves alot more credit that he was given.

I met Jerry Reed a few years back. He was really a class act. Just a nice guy and a real talent. He was here in Louisiana doing a concert and I got to ask him a few questions. He said he really enjoyed playing the part of Bama McCall in Gator. I ended up getting him to autograph my VCR tape of Gator. Still keep it in the movie cabinet next to my TV in the living room. RIP Jerry.
