Yeah, pretty shabby by today's standards of course, but at the time it freaked me out. I remember in Grade school the next day all the talk was about "Did you see the rat-eating scene?!" and how cool it was.

When I first saw this scene when I was 10 years old, it reminded me of something out of those weird Monty Python cartoon clips. Even though I didn't see any of them back in 1984.
