@elusneiu I agree. There is more virgin material going into this "recycled" project than actually reusing. It's a super cool idea though. Although I bet you can find most of the materials at a second hand store, if yer lucky.
Unfortunately the project does not reuse a whole lot of new things one needs to buy to make all this - the wire, the chain, the cooling rack maybe even the cool glittery pebbles. One day, all of these will be garbage too... And now, besides having to remanufacture the glass yoghurt jars, also the wire, the chain, the cooling rack and glittery pebbles will have to be recycled...:S
I hope your´e all aware that burning candles indoors is an immense source to harmfull airpollution with especially soot particles that are comparable to diesel and pose a serious threat on health to people with respiratory syndroms such as astma or the worse. I´m not sure if that will fully comply with reasonable criterias for the idea of "green" living.
