He started the curve really well, but did a fatal mistake: he hit the break.

Looks like he was trying to counterbalance through those turns instead of leaning. counterbalance is for slow / really low speed turning only not going through curves...

The rider looked good on the other sections, He didn't lean hard enough on that turn. If you look at his foot position it looks like he is almost draging toes. I would suggest riding up high on the peg and leaning a little more. Camera guy did a good job not fixating on the downed rider.
