Rear Cat. Delete Exhaust Vid.

My 2004 P71 Crown Vic with the rear Catalytic Converters taken off. It also has Dual Flowmaster Super 44's installed. Sorry about UN-edited video the car comes back into view at 1:38

ok ik some one elss asked you this like 3 weeks ago that if it threw codes and u side it had not i am just wondering if it has because i blew may cats and i was just going to put a new front one in and take off the rears.

Here is how the exhaust is set up.

02sensor-Cat1-02sensor-Cat2-Hp­ipe-Super44-Tailpipe

So if the Front Cat is bad then it will throw a code and you will have to replace it, but if the rear one is bad then you can just weld in pipe instead of replacing it since there is no sensor after the rear cat.

I should have said stock exhaust. Bet yes my exhaust would say cat delete. And it will run fine since their is no O2 sensor after the second cats.

Bah, never mind. I guess on this car they just plug into the DLC to test it so it doesn't matter as long as there's no trouble codes.

I am pretty sure the configuration of the CVPI is O2sensor-catalytic converter-O2sensor-resonator-H­pipe-muffler-tailpipe. If the item after the second O2 sensor was a cat, there would have to be another O2 sensor to tell the computer that the "second" cat was working, too.

I was told by a guy that he took his cat out and it didn't throw a code. I doubt it since the computer checks the O2 content before and after the cat, and if the 2nd O2 sensor doesn't show something different a code comes up
