I made a deal with Hemet Nesingwary so that my Dalaran pet shop is constantly stocked with Obsidian Hatchlings. Hemet sends out his hunters to steal the young of obsidian raptors for me. In return, I conjure up large batches of some of the best vegetarian mana biscuits he's ever had. What? You didn't know? Yup... Hemet Nesingwary is a vegetarian. But do me a favor and keep that on the down low. After all, Hemet's got a reputation to uphold.

  • Question, how did you get it so incredibly high definition, how did you render it, and i assume you used Sony vegas ? if not, what did u use, what did u render it as, and please tell me all the settings if you can :P, i made a pvp movie, uploaded a 1.1GB video, and it looked pretty shit, so i got kinda angry, i want to know what the best thing is to render it to .. alright uhm, and thats one nice pet you got there by the way ^^

oh and.. what recording software ? fraps i suppose ?

  • 1. Record video

I use Fraps and run WOW in a Window with 1280x720 pixels

    2. Edit

Then I edit/cut thr source with TMPEGEnc 4.0 XPress

    3. Compress

Finally I compress the video with the following settings:

    DivX, 1280x720, 30fps, 1-Pass Constant Quality, CQ=1.00 and MP3 audio

  • Alright, help me out here, TMPEGEnc 4.0 is the software u use ? or what ? sony vegas sucks then ? im a bit of a nub when it comes to rendering.

and you compress it in that software ?

if it is the software, where to download it.

if it isnt software, but u use vegas, then what does all u said mean ? :D

I hope you dont get pissed ... or anything

but yeah im one of those people who just started with all this.

I'd like to get some advice and help :)

    Thanks in advance.

  • small typo, correct name is "TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress".

It's a commercial software to edit and compress video material. I can't post here a link, you will find it with google.

Which software you use is not really important. The key is, that your video has a supported video size and compression codec. Youtube don't recompress your video again and you don't loose the video quality.

Youtube has a help page with all the supportet codes and video sizes.

For me the settings from above works.

  • btw: I don't know Sony Vegas, sorry
