Leroi was Leroi, one of the nicest guys on the planet, and one of the most talented.

Have memories being atop the Jefferson theatre in C'ville partying w/ Leroi and him so badly wanting our friend Raphie who also died tragically taking her own life.
The are together at least now and happy, I am sure of this.
Miss you my brother.

I cannot believe that every year on my birthday I wil think of one of the greatest musicians dying. God bless you Leroi! I will never forget the soul you brought to this woman/human/being. Thank you for your inspiration and thank DMB for the continuing inspiration. Love Groo Gru\x King (or however you spell it- I only hear it ;)

Can't believe it's almost been a year since we lost this great sax player............and great human being. Kudos to DMB for carrying on...........I know Leroi is watching with a smile. Indeed, life is short but sweet for certain...............
