Alexander Wang is always one of my most anticipated shows of each and every season. He seems so cerebral, and yet I wouldn't be surprised if those designs came to him in a dream. So unembellished and almost dirty, and yet incredibly chic.

Tavi's a special kid.Why would you hate her? She has her own point of view,her own style and that's actually great. And Wang? He has something to say in fashion. I just love asians.

The collection was great. But I'm annoyed by Tim Blank's vaguely racist assertion that Alexander's take on college and varsity sports is somehow "outsider" because he didn't grow up in a "traditionally American" household. He was born and raised here, which makes him American, asshole. And his take is not from "East Asia" considering 1) he's not from East Asia and 2) there's nothing in the collection that would imply an East Asian perspective.
