Does it move like that to the naked eye, or is that just picked up by time lapse? Also, is it that bright, or do you use special camera settings to make it brighter than what the naked eye would see?

@PigeonTech This is a time-lapse movie, and the aurora in this movie is 30 times faster than actual. Also, since each photo was taken in 2.5 seconds exposure with F/2.8 and ISO3200, this image is brighter than actual (what the naked eye would see).

speechless. I saw the lights out here near Earthquake Park in Anchorage Alaska about a week ago,, nice greens , bits of yellow and purple too! :)
