Great to hear what you are saying... I have been saying much the same, pointing people to the same scriptures and the full testimony of scripture. Wish I could have a conversation, face to face with you too. Do you skype? My kids do and if you would be willing to talk with me I would get it loaded onto my computer. Maybe on a friday night or some saturday would be a great time to discuss the things of God! Or any time really... let me know, Please!

Well I said I don't play arguing games. My heart is free of any conviction of sin over what you say are " clear teachings" god loves me, and He isn't going to punish me or love me less cos I don't keep the Sabbath and eat bacon

My entire working life jphas been in social care teaching and full time Christian ministry...following where God leads even when a walk of faith has cost me everything vie had to be obedient. I just think you're making life and faith difficult for anyone who chooses to follow you and folk will. I hope one day you find freedom from legalism,

@Warrendoe The time anyone spends teaching or ministry does not equate to being in line with God's word (BTDT).
Its not legalism, being obedient keeps us FREE from the bondage of the flesh, sin & its eventual death.

It's a particularly male game you guys seem to engage in fighting with quotes: a form of power play I COULD play the game of theological tit for tat but am choosing not to. God is love and freedom and perfect peace. My sins are forgiven, I'm happy to be in the Kingdom by Gods grace...I don't want to be the greatest. I'm just like Martha and Mary, working quietly in my corner. Leave all the jawing to you guys...especially as you don't listen.

@Warrendoe You make all these claims against obedience & the teachings in the OT & NT; you dont support your points with any scripture. I provide a LOT of scripture & you have ignored all of it - even the many scriptures that shows part of your belief is not in line with God's word & you still ignore them.
With that said, I think this discussion is over because I will not waver from scripture & you will not heed its clear teachings.

So sorry to hear you say that because the majority of the NT people/writers to include Yeshua quoted & taught extensively from the OT.
Oh well this is over so it doesnt matter anyway - because you never intended to listen to scripture to begin with - how comforting.
