This is a quick journey through the subjects of oil formation, peak oil, energy, economic growth, and resource depletion. I've condensed several years of reading and research into little over half an hour. The most important sequence is around the 17min mark, dealing with Growth...the real subject of the TNT.

    Very good video.

This was a hard video to watch, not because of any revealed "Truths",but because of of inconsistencies and bullshit sprinkled throughout it surrounding the facts.

Take the recycling bit at 30:07 for example. What isnt mentioned is how much isnt recycled because of the financial costs rather than physical costs or technological barriers. Many things that arent recycled can be,but arent because the monetary costs dont match, and many that shouldnt be recycled are for the opposite reason.

That would be one of the extremes. To achieve this ideal we would need massive change and reform STARTING NOW.

Peak oil has been debunked by shale oil and gas, energy is on the cusp of a huge revolution with alternatives and growth is at an all times high in terms of gdp. The Future is going to be a future of extreme abundance, free energy and knowledge, with spaceships traversing every distant spot in our known universe.

This video reminds me of the implications of infinite growth and energy consumption of the human race as discussed in Isaac Asimov's "the Last Question."
