I think every Otaku should watch this series.. Neon Genesis Evangelion was a awakening for me. This was one of the best series I've ever watched before... The characters, the history-line, the scenes development, the drama, the violence, the psychological exposure.. every little detail of Evangelion is just a masterpiece.

It express all the melanchony of EVA, all the desolation sense, of be lost by our own, the same emotion that we are usal to feel during the long days of our lifes, when we are alone; nothing more than Sinji pain.

the scientist was always a song that touched me deeply, and coupled with NGE (especially anything to do with kaworu) it was was inevitable that I was going to cry during this amv, well done it was really great. Simple, but touching

No, not really. I just made my own outcome for Shinji using episodes 24-26 of NGE. What helped me was the very last clip of Shinji "fading away" and that really helped set the tone for me.
