Mud Morganfield and brother Big Bill Play Westmont

Muddy Waters had three sons ... two of whom are serious musicians ... the oldest Larry goes by Mud Morganfield, but everyone knows him by Muddy Waters Jr. He sounds a lot like his dad when he sings ... and he loves to do the old MW classics. Big Bill Morganfield also plays a mean guitar and sings too. In this segment you'll see the two brothers on stage together for the first time. They are joined by their youngest brother Joe and his two boys to do a rousing rendition of "Got My Mojo Working". The event drew a record of 7,000 ... the most in the 12 year history of the event. Westmont is the town Muddy called home for many of his last years.

I'm still in shock, just found out I grew up a few houses down from Muddy Water's & his family in Westmont,Illinois and never even knew it until tonight! Eric Clapton,The Rolling Stones and many others came out to visit and jam and I didn't know who they were playing down the street in the bak yard! Oh to go back! ♥
