La Balija - A Noir Short

Here's a little video project I made for a class in 2007. The title is translated as "Baggage". It is an homage to the golden age of American Film Noir and French New Wave. It's certainly nothing original, but I hope it still entertains.

For the class, we were to make a short film between 3-5 minutes with no audio except music. The groups were given only two days to film. We were given the shooting equipment for which we hadn't had much hands-on experience prior. I wish I had a little more time in Post to have made more corrections to a few obvious mistakes, but oh well. This was our first time out with such equipment, which was stressful, along with having to handle the actors, locations, costumes, props, ourselves, etc. within a rather limited period of time.
