WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY!

Here is the 2nd half of my raifanning trip at Safeco Field in Seattle, WA.

Train One: BNSF short cut of rabanco/trash cars with ex-BN SD40-2 #8068 leading with BN paint, and BNSF SD40-2 #7040 and ex-BN SD40-2 #6370 trailing. #8068 has a great K3LA. They remained on the grade crossing for some time, then continued north (I was saving camera battery power for the Amtrak trains at this time).

Train 2: Amtrak P42DC #121 and #92 (both VERY CLEAN) pull cars back to the coach yard.

Train 3: Same train as #2 crosses King Street Station, after putting its set of Amtrak Superliner coaches through a wash. Note how clean they look, even under the overcast skies that day.

Train 4: A BNSF Grain train with a BNSF patched Warbonnet, ex-ATSF Dash 9-44CW #798, with a good horn. Trailing is a Warbonnet still in ATSF lettering,
ex-ASTF Dash 8-41CW #939!

Train 5: Amtrak P42DC #121 and #92 pull the washed Superliner cars into King Street Station.

Train 6: Amtrak Cascades train #513 arrives from the north with F59PHI #470 leading. Ex-F40PH NPCU #90251 is trailing on this train.

Train 7: BNSF stack train with BNSF Dash 9-44CW #5295, and BNSF Dash 9-44CW #4720, and ex-ATSF Dash 8-40CW #873, which has SADLY been painted into BNSF's new PowerBar scheme! A NS unit is also trailing on this train :) Lead unit on this train did has a good horn at least.

  • When the H3 (or PowerBar, swoosh, wedge, sh*$ scheme) first came out, I didn't really like it, but it has grown on me a bit and now I think it looks cool. It is sad to see the warbonnets gettign repainted, but having the red and sliver fading and peeling so badly was kind of an insult to Santa Fe.

  • I would have preferred they would repaint the units to touch-up their original ATSF scheme, that what wasn't gonna happen. I agree with your comment. Thanks for the comment.

  • the first bn train sounds like the BNSF train in part 2, it has same sound and same length of the horn

  • I think they both have K3LA's :) Thanks for the comment

  • i like the BN units and the horns

  • Thanks :)

  • awesome video

  • Must have been the Empire Builder.

  • How strange....I happen to click on two random videos to view, and both have

the same power - Amtrak #121 and #92 pulling a passenger train. One was in Washington state and one was in Minnesota and were posted by two different people. I should play these numbers in the lottery!

  • last time i was there visiting my sister i was at that spot from 10 am till 5pm seen like 25 maybe 30 trains mostly amtrak and sounder till the cops came and i was asked too leave or go downtown for trespassing
