@rosebudgarden Thanks! It IS a beautiful film, all the way through. Wong Kar Wai ... his sense of colour is unrivalled. And the 'couple' in these clips ... well, aren't they just a few notches above good-looking?! Especially (I'm biassed!) Faye Wong. She appears, by the way, in one of his earlier films: Chungking Express. One of my absolute favourites. Which is hereby recommended! ;-)

Just to let you know how much I absolutely love not only this song, but more so the video, I decided to finally create an account. I truly appreciate this song more, after seeing these sort of images to tie it with. Wonderfully done!

I had wanted for a very long time to make a video from these sequences but the music was never right. That is, until the obvious choice revealed itself spontaneously, as it were. From then on all I had to do was a little reassembly & trimming of the shots so the cuts fitted the beat. It all fell into place very smoothly & nicely.
And yes, the track IS haunting.
