I've played around with gortex bleed valves but I don't think they make a lot of difference as I've founds it's better to leave the cells as individual chambers without linking them and even without a valve of any sort the board was fine to handle a range of temps when I was in Bali

Thanks for that, yeh there's still flex in it, when the blank comes off the machine it has A LOT of flex due to the comb pattern which has great compression strength through the deck to bottom but will still flex down the board.

Looks amazing mate! What do you use for the skin? and how thin can you make it without compromising strength? cheers

How do you deal with internal pressure?

The core has less effect on flex than the skins do. For a given skin thickness the flex is mainly determined by the thickness to length ratio of the board. Thinner longboards = more flex.

Incredible work. Does the board have any flex?
