  • The music is good, but the vocals are terrible...

  • I don't think some people get it. The bands were asked to perform a Ramones song in their own style, it wasn't meant to sound like the Ramones but like in this case U2. Green day, chrissie hynde, RHCP, Metallica usw also did covers but in their own style - nobody was trying to copy the Ramones - nobody could!

  • Love U2, but the vocals really do this thing a disservice.

  • @jesuschrist1207 the same thing that the faggot of joey ramone did when he died listening to "In a Little While" from U2, you idiot, they admired each other music!

  • @altebaran Amen to that ^^

  • Why does Bono need to cover the Ramones and Joy Division for that matter?

  • if bono had more aggression in his vocals, i think this would've been a better cover.

  • @MysticKnight77 the feeling was mutual. At his request, Joey (Jeff) was listening to U2 recordings when he passed away. I have read that when U2 heard this they were profoundly moved.

  • @MysticKnight77 it's pretty good it's just tht bono duznt sing it the way joey duz. it's different. it's better than metallica covering the Ramones lol. James Hetfield tries 2 sing like joey

  • the original is always the best

  • realy what the fuck are faggots like u2 doing singing a ramones soneg

  • honestly i like it...i think his voic is fine with it lol its their own impression of the song...like U2 putting their own twist on it. They dont want it to sound exactly like the Ramones...that wouldn't be a "tribute" ..just copying. For example..on that same album...Marilyn Manson does "kkk took my baby away"...its nothing like the original lol but it's his own version of the song.....power to them right? lol
