In Ukraine, there are millions of Eastern Catholics called Uniates. Like Maronites, they are not orthodox but firmly faithful to the Holy See of Rome, even if their liturgy is byzantine. They were exterminated by Stalin who gave them the choice between joining the KGB-run Soviet Orthodox Church or being killed. Milions were starved to death or slaughtered by the communists.

The other important thing is that you are not ARAB, think about it my maronite brother or sister, even if u talk the language, the in our lovely country weren´t arab, they were aramaic origins and phoenician. I love the maronite, but i dislike when they say we are arabs, cs no christians are arabs!!.

1) ok you are not orthodox cs the catholic church got divided from the orthodox for long time 451 after Christ, and for your information there were no catholic churches, the orthodox was first and the other came after. Second part 2....
