Bringing the tradition of the blues together with the depth of classical Indian ragas, Harry Manx has been called an "essential link" between the music of East and West. Here he plays "Can't Be Satisfied" from the newly released DVD "Guitar Artistry of Harry Manx." More info at http://www.guitarvideos.com/products/vestapol-dvds/guitar-artistry-of-harry-manx

  • This guy knows how to play blues guitar. Amongst other things. So don't tell me white guy can't play real blues.

  • @mafew129 I think it's just a special slide guitar capo, don't think it's raising the strings at all (if it's the metal bar at ~3rd fret you're thinking about). Not sure though...

  • The 2nd microphone is put weirdly, it seems to be pointing the side of the guitar, but sounds good heh

  • Awesome man, I´m feelin it

  • @VioletGiraffe Those are not facts. Your opinion is not based on facts. What is a fact is that there is NO colour in music. Music is based on feelings, NOT ego, intellectuality, pride or politics. Music is one of the only non-judgemental forms of art in this World..now let's keep it that way.

  • @taildragger53

Not defending, pointing to facts, nothing more.

  • @VioletGiraffe The stereotype is in peoples heads. The same way the line of defense is in yours. There is NOTHING to defend.

Music is a universal language not a means to develop paranoia.

  • @taildragger53

True, but there is quite a persistent stereotype, so I felt I should point to it being wrong.

  • @VioletGiraffe Harry Manx actually spent 5 yrs in India learning the Mohan Vina, which is the basis of his lap style technique. Colour doesn't come into the equation...certainly not for Harry anyway.

  • Buenísimo

  • Did he say pickle?

  • Everyone is entitled to be a little blue....nice work! :-)
