In Minecraft 1.1 the collision box is removed from ladders, does this still work then?

can you give me an estimate amount of drop if you had this trap with 14 floors,
cause me and my friends build a similar mob trap and we want to check if we get a normal amount of items. (it's now about 900 per hour)
