Song of St Francis

I was crying as I put this together. God speaks to each of us differently, and yet, I couldn't help but feel that this is my prayer to God, my response to His being in my life. I wish I could offer Him more of myself. I have problems like everyone, and always ask for answers, and always ask why...then as Job in the Bible, I place my hand over my mouth... The question of Brother Masseo springs to mind, "Why after you, why after you, why after you, Francis does the whole world run?" So many times we have tried to discover the secret of St Francis. Many books have been written about him, many films made and yet we feel that every response given, every explanation offered, tells us only something about him but never quite succeeds in fully defining him or revealing his true identity.

@dkarlarivera Jesus prayed for Peter - Luke 22:32 says, "But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail." Is it a sin not to pray for people? 1 Samuel 12:23 answers this question, "As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. Maybe you are different, and don't follow the words of YESHUA.....

We can pray for someone whos ill or needs something or what ever the cause but to go and ask a dead men or woman to help you with your prayers for GOD TO HEAR YOU,thats against the bible we only need Yeshua, thats it no one else, thats why he died and rose again for us. we need only one door to go to YHWH and thats Yeshua. plz tell me where in the bible say go to someone whos already dead pray to him to GOD to hear ur prayers?

@dkarlarivera Scripture indicates, those in heaven are aware of the prayers of those on earth. This can be seen, for example, in Revelation 5:8, where John depicts the saints in heaven offering our prayers to God under the form of "golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." But if the saints in heaven are offering our prayers to God, then they must be aware of our prayers. They are aware of our petitions and present them to God by interceding for us.

I felt down due to the discussion in my English class critiquing Jesus and God the Father while crediting Paine and Neitzche. I guess for the teacher being incredulous of any belief is necessary. I went home to find music on the internet to undo the dent in my soul and I found this. St. Francis is my patron saint during confirmation. To consider everything a miracle reminded me God is everywhere. "You love me, as if I were the only one to love!" Thank you for posting! This brings so much hope!
