  • hey anaru, i was wondering if i could be both a passive and aggressive player, like be aggressive or passive when neccessary. also i always play for unconsecutively, i will play one day then not the next, the after a couple games go by im still not back to my top gameplay. any tips?

  • @kelvis706 The key to a great Halo player is the ability to recognize when they need to be passive and when they need to be aggressive. Being proficient at doing both is best case scenario, but you need to analyze your own game to figure out your main staple. Do you find yourself to be more successful while rushing, or playing at a more controlled pace? This series is meant to help people become more consistent, but you need to make that distinction first. I will be doing part 2 soon.

  • @Anarugameplays I myself am a passive player. I prefer to outsmart my opponents rather than face them head on. I put myself in positions that give me the advantage, and I'm constantly aware of where my team mates are as that helps me predict where the enemy may be. If you play like that then your passive like me. If your always pushing forward looking for that next enemy, or always picking things like swords and shotguns up to rush with, then your probably an aggressive player.

  • Would a player who is better at taking out vehicles be aggressive, passive, or a different branch like a support?

  • @whitefalcon225 Taking out vehicles should be an objective for all types of players, but if you focus on doing it then you fit more of a support role. Your taking out a vehicle that could be detrimental to your team on either offense or defense. Ideally a team should work together to destroy them though.

  • This is probably the best halo commentary as far as specific play styles. You made me realize that I am a passive/support player and I can't wait until you break them down further and such. I am excited for this boot camp series. Awesome work.

  • @Anarugameplays I play on bumper jumper too. The problem is that with sprinting you got to claw. I dont know if its better to claw with the ring finger on the RT or using the middle( even tho its not really on the trigger)

  • Your voice sounds funny and cool at the same time.

  • @Anarugameplays ok, thx

  • @Anarugameplays definitely do some maps. on top of all that stuff you just mentioned, you should also put in some tricks/glitches/hiding spots for each map (if you know of any) just an idea . . .

  • I play on 10... and i'm alright 1v1 DMR'ing. and i guess that's cos i'm aggressive so i rush them before they get the first shot?

  • @ninjaheartt Once basics are over most likely. I'm trying to decide if map or weapon breakdowns are more important, but I'm currently leaning towards maps after basics.
