I think Will Durant, in his book "The Story of Philosophy," was a bit off base in some of his criticisms on Nietzsche. (not terribly surprising considering it was published about 50 years before serious Nietzsche scholarship began) However, I do concur with Will Durant when he wrote that "Seldom has a man paid so great a price for genius." Indeed, Nietzsche suffered much and that suffering is reflected in his brilliant works.

Thank you for the movie. I read the book, which I admit was for a shallow reason, because I had heard it was Colin Farrell's favorite book, and I wanted to know what was so enthralling about it. After reading it I undertook Nietzche's "Hunan, All Too Human". I found I had many opinions of the man that were totally wrong. Next to read "Thus Spake Zarathusa". If a work of fiction can prompt a person to explore the facts, it's good.
