@MyCrazzySoxRoxUrSox The Beatles said nothing of the sort. Some DJ in the U.S. started the whole thing based on the Abbey Road cover and it spiraled from there. It's not "clever", it's people reading into shit that was never put there by the Beatles on purpose.

@IXIGoldeyIXI it says that in the song because there was a conspiracy in like 1969 that paul died in a car crash and they got a look-alike replacement, william shears campbell. I don't know if i believe it, but it's pretty interesting and kind of convincing at times.
