That's exactly what I was trying to say. Part of the culture in Japan is the idol business, and in the idol business, most of the concert go-ers are male fans. It's just more appealing to male fans to wear stuff like this.

Tsunku-san doesn't exploit them, it's just part of the idol business. Most of their fans are male, so they wear things appealing to men. If they didn't like the attention that they would get from men, then they wouldn't have joined.
