DIPLE project - technology transfer and innovation for the printing industry

In 2009, WCPC won the prestigious EU Regiostars award for the DIPLE project (Digital, Industrial, Productivity, Lean and Environmental printing). This video, made for the European Commission, gives a brief introduction to DIPLE, showing some aspects of the work undertaken with the printing industry by the WCPC (Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating). It has sections on monitoring VOC's and printing for plastic electronics. The project enabled the transfer of technology and encouraged innovation in the Welsh printing industry. It was funded by the Welsh Assembly through the Wales European Funding Office using European Structural Funds for the benefit of the region.
