Growing Egg Plant Time Lapse

These plants are the slowest growing things ever. This time the video covers over a month, with pictures either every 1 or 3 minutes, depending on the section of the video. In total there were 30,000+ pictures, which I had to transfer to an external hard drive around the middle because the pictures filled up the computer they were being saved to.

At one point a spider VERY quickly visits. He's in 10 or so pictures in a row, but the video is playing at somewhere around 200 pictures per second or so... I'm not even sure really, I lost track.

At another point the power went out, which caused a few pictures to be skipped. I don't think it's noticeable, though. Any jumpiness in the video is mainly from me watering the plant... they were so tiny that just the change in soil moisture made them move around a lot.

Other than that, the only other real neat thing is when one of the lights burned out around 20 seconds and the little plants all leaned toward the other one. It almost made me wish I screwed with the lights a little!

@fruityfoot :) I kind of felt the same way, too. But I just couldn't bring myself to leave the camera there any more... it had been so long.
