Another solo recently learned...Metallica's Disposable Heroes from Master of Puppets. I think this one is pretty well...Well...expect one more solo really soon... ;) Hope you enjoy it and comment...
Great job, your bends are full and rich, something that most youtube guitarists are lacking. I would like to share with you my own version that I just recorded with the rest of the song included. Please check it out on my profile!
ok thanks, it seems the whole practice slow and slowly increasing the speed seems to work best. Anyway, i must say that this is quite an amazing cover and is it just me or do most of kirk hammet's solo's sound alike or what? lmao im taking ur advice and practicing slowly...thanks
so, it's the pentatonic part as i said. well, i sincerely don't remember if i get that part from ear or from a tab. but i most probably checked my master of puppets official tab book for it. so, try to get an accurate tab and nail it down. for me, the trickiest part was by far the palm-muting part (the right notes). i spent a lot of time trying to learn it by heart since it is so unusual. the rest went more smoothly (although i had some trouble at the beginning part as well)
well i dont mean the 12-12-12-12-13-12-12-12-12-15-12-12-12-12-12-15b17 part, i mean the part where it alternates between strings at the whole 15-12-15-12-15-12-14-12-15-12 (the tabs are incorrect, but i think u may be able to find out what i mean. thanks for all the help so far lol

they don't sound alike that much, but it's true he uses a lot of same scale patterns, so they get easier to figure out.
