www.nwf.org/climateaction - Tell Congress that now is the time to repower America with clean energy technologies that strengthen our economy, our security and our planet's future. Add your voice to the thousands of every day Americans flooding Capitol Hill in support of President Obama's comprehensive plan for climate and energy legislation.
It's a plan that puts a cap on global warming pollution and creates millions of new green jobs that will sustain Americas long term economic health. It's a smart plan for our future, will your voice be heard?

  • Climate Change is a figment of the propaganda of Rockefeller, and Rothschild, who own and control the media. I'ts a scam, a lie, all invented to line the pockets of the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds; at taxpayer expense.

  • . NEW truth - just out! Global Warming - SEE Professor Bob Carter A MUST see . . . SEE Professor Bob Carter SEE Professor Bob Carter This has become a lot worse than we ever thought it could, and Professor Bob Carter shows us why. NEW truth - just out! Global Warming - SEE Professor Bob Carter A MUST see . . . .
  • if he is for renewable energy he must be for nuclear energy it is the nearest thing we have to renewable energy this guy sounds like a arrorgant fool

  • Fascism, how is funding Renewable Energy Fascism?!

What Bush did was Facism, invading Iraq, Homeland Security, all THAT bullshit was fascism.

I'm done flame-waring, now I'm gonna go and make sure Waxman Markey passes the Senate.

    Peace.

  • Again, do you have ANY solution, ANY SOLUTION AT ALL to suggest for stopping our reliance on fossil fuels. Do you even know what Peak Oil is, do you think that oil will always be cheap and available?

You don't care about the world around you it sounds like, you don't care about the future, the only thing I'm hearing from you is you care about your wallet.

  • Calling me ignorant, you're sticking your head in the sand with the thought that the world will always be fine.

First of all, the bill aims to cut emissions to 20% by 2020 and 80% by 2050,

If we do NOTHING, and emissions get above 800 ppm (we are at 460 right now, then the methane gas trapped in the permafrost is projected to be released into the atmosphere, which would be CATASTROPHIC, imagine 60% of the planet being changed into severe desert area

  • Again what do see in the future, do you not care for the future of the next generation?

What will you do when the oil runs out, what will you do when the Southwest turns into a desert and crops fail worldwide.

You will look back and wished you had done SOMETHING to save the future, but instead you did nothing.

This bill pays for itself almost instantaneously and is absolutely essential for the long term survival of nation.

Energy efficiency, New Jobs, and a better climate.

  • I have read the main points of the bill, you're the one who won't read beyond the progaganda that republicans are spewing. The total cost of this bill is about a postage stamp a day PER HOUSEHOLD. This not only does SOMETHING to migate climate change but lowers our dependency on foreign oil and creates new energy sources and jobs.

You would have our country do NOTHING to end our addiction to fossil fuels. This bill is only flawed because of the comprises made to corrupt GOP scum.

  • Even though this bill is flawed, it is the ONLY way to make headway towards mitigating climate change, and shaking off our dependency on oil.

This bill in NO WAY infringes on liberties, that is just a scaremongering claim.

What do you suggest we do to shake off our dependency on oil, ANYTHING? do you have ANY solution, or do you just think the problem is just going to solve itself?

  • The difference between your belief and mine is this:

If I'M Wrong, and Climate Change is a hoax etc, at worst the U.S could have another recession, without even regarding the issue of peak oil.

However, if YOUR wrong, and we do NOTHING to address climate change or peak oil, hundreds of millions will die, our planet, our country, and our future will be destroyed, and nothing will be left for our children. I don't want to live to see Colorado, or California become a god damn desert.
