@Nowitzki25 I agree that Price's books are awesome. My favourite is ' The reason driven life' which is his reply to Rick Warren TPDL. Also 'The paperback apocalypse, how the Christian church was left behind' , ' The Davinci Fraud', ' The Case against the case for Christ'. Valerie Tarico also makes good points in,' Trusting doubt' see wisdomcommons on humanity's shared moral core &belief in Matt 7v12 The Golden Rule. As Price says the Bible should be read as words of man,look 4 any good in it

@Desophistic Thank you, thank you, thank you. Absolutely correct. The claim that there are supernatural beings is wholly unsubstantiated. Saying: "I do not have an active belief that these claims are true." (atheist) is quite different from saying: "I am convinced of some other unprovable thing." I agree with Loftus' position that agnosticism is the default position of any intellectually honest person. I disagree with his assertion that atheists make another type of faith claim. Wrong.

I disagree with your definition of Atheism and Agnosticism. Gnosticism relates to what is known or unknowable while Theism relates to belief. They are not mutually exclusive. A-theism is merely a response position to a theistic belief and literally means not a theist, so rejecting the claim: god(s) exists for whatever reason (e.g.: lack of evidence) makes you an Atheist, by default, regardless of having made or not made a claim to know if it is true or not.
