EVER HEARD OF DON PULLEN? WELL YOU ALL BETTER GET HOLD OF HIS VERSION OF "INNER CITY BLUES" ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE "LIVE AT THE VANGUARD" LP IS ULTRARARE, NO STUDIO VERSION WAS EVER RECORDED... MAYBE IT'S BEEN REISSUED ON CD, CERTAINLY BETTER THAN THIS ONE, AND FUNKIER THAN MARVIN'S URBAN APPROACH, HAPPY '12 ;-)

You're right. And not. I think it really depends on your mood. Sometimes i prefer Marvins Version, sometimes this nice cover.
