I want to have a sex change but I dont know how to get the hormons.

Maybe a gradual one, regarding the risks of side effects for example. I'd be scared shitless!

,this was 5 times the normal amount of estrogen for men. But, of course, it does not matter when you are a transguy, right? Idiots.

hindered my progress. The more testosterone you have, the more it aromatizes, and don't count on these endocrinologist sto tell you anything. Dr. Gardiner (now retired), and Dr. Doran, the one I have now, didn't tell me how high my estrogen levels were. I come,I ask? Is it normal to have 300 picomoles of estrogen per L of blood after the hysto and ovariectomy. After Doran told me about this, I didn't know anything about it, but it sounded like a lot. I made a search on the net , and sure enough

, since my life was going down the drain, so they finally decided to give permission to start testosterone in october 1999. However, when you are completely down, the road to getting up will be that much harder. The only thing I could think of was results. And since I had waited so long, I was not patient and I was always one step ahead of what I was doing, so I never got to enjoy each step as I should have. I was taking too much testosterone for quicker results, which, in fact, probably

She was always pushing back the date, she did not believe in transsexuality. She thought you could actually, after many many years of therapy, change the brain to align it with the body. She would give people hormones only when they'd be stuck to the wall. After almost two years in that program, I told them I was not going to do anything else with my life anymore. I stopped going to school, I did not work and I was more and more suicidal. I think they were afraid of having blood on their hands

at the Human sexuality clinic on the 6th floor, but on the 4th floor,in the psychiatric ward, where the mentally-ill stayed. Also, the head of the program,Marylin Wilchesky, was very condescending and would refer to post-op trans, male-to-female especially, as their biological sex. Once, upon being corrected by someone in the group because she used the male pronoun to refer to a post-op m-t-f, her explaination was that she said it the way she felt it. No wonder it took me 2 years to get hormones.
Gender therapists, maybe, but I wouldn't go to one of these sex-reassigment programs affiliated to a university health center. I wasted 5 years in such a program, which was part of the Human Sexuality Unit at The Montreal General Hospital. Their goal is not to help you, but keep you from getting a sex-change. These so called experts not only have many wrong, pre-conceived ideas about trans people, but they also think you are mentally-ill. The last year I was there, the meetings were held, not

I was in that same "program", and even consulted with Marylin Wilchesky. She had me stop hormones when I was self-medicating and I found it very painful. I figured out I should leave after 5 months, because she kept pushing back the date when I might potentially get hormones from them.

Tyvm TGirl15--this vid, lol idk I was looking up hair removal like crazy after no! no!ing took forever & idk I just got into a dysphoria moment; but your video snapped me out of it, so Tx. Anyway, I'm a 17 y.o. identifying as MTF with a supportive family & like I'd like to just come out via facebook the day I'm done with HS. I have never had the time to really live as female but at the same time I think I would feel 100% comfy doing it, but you talk about taking it slow; do you think I should?

If your family is supportive, you might want to look into freezing sperm and getting a hormone prescription soon, since the younger you start, the more effective it is.
Other than that, I would suggest you don't rush anything. Don't rush to have SRS as fast as possible. Don't try to do your whole transition in 6 months or a year. Just go at your own pace.
