Slade ~ Noddy Holder ~ Diners ~ Slade In England

In 2002 the BBC ran a short series of programmes filmed in a friendly restaurant where hidden cameras eavesdropped on invited diners.

Holder appeared in one of the shows and here is the SIE edit of Holders's bits.

Holder talks Ozzy Osborne, Slade and other trivialities, but also semi reveals that Jimmy Lea had a piece.....which explains many of the dodgy barnet photos printed in teeny mags in the 70's....

There appears to be quite a bit of animosity with him and the others within the band. They do say those who attack others have a bigger monster of their own to hide. Hmm. I do feel a little put off with the bitterness that appears to be on show here. Its something as a life long SLADE fan that I personally could have lived without and I do think it has a tendency to taint the thing for some. I think a quote from Holders character in the movie FLAME is required ere..BETTER TO SHUT UP THEN MATE..
