i have 2 cores processor and 1 gig ram ddr2 and geforce 3d club 9600gt 512mb...
and im playing this game on ultra and recording game on HD...
this game wasnt meant to be a simulator, it was meant to be a fun, great, rally game, if it was a real simulator most of people would never finish a race without crashing.. and it would be imposible to play it with keyboard, and they want to sell the most quantity of games possible..
i have a question to you, im looking forward to buy a new PC, and i was thinking to buy a core 2 duo, 2gb ram, nvidia 8600gt 256mb, your video cars is 256mb or 512?

My opinion is that the 8600gt is kind of crappy, mine's the 256mb version. It does create a bit of a bottleneck in this game, but most stuff is fine. I hear that the 7800GT is actually faster and cheaper, but can't do DirectX 10. I don't care about that, since I won't run vista. :)
Also, this game really can't be played with the keyboard.
I can highly recommend the core 2 duo line, it's an amazing processor for the price, especially the E6550, and e6750. Very fast for the price. :) Enjoy!
