  • Doc,

Thanks for this - it answered everything I wanted to know about doing this in the field. I will add a stitching kit to my BOB.

  • I looks pro, are you a doc? Would it be possible to do this on a larger wound or is this for small purposes only? 5/5

  • how and when do you remove the suture? Thanks mate!

  • i keep trying it on a latex glove. whenever i try to get the two ends to touch, they come apart as soon as i take tension off the string. is there something i am doing wrong?

  • @Mont556n wtf...

  • love this video, camera is close enough to see well what you are doing. Great job on this shot.

  • I am in the medical field and found your instruction on suturing excellent. Of course, prep and post-operative care needs a little work. But for the purpose of this type of care and training, it was well done. In an emergency situation, this video is more than adequate. Congratulations! I would like to see you demonstrate a continous suture. If you have the time and knowledge, please produce this video for education purposes. Thank you for your time and edifcation. Peace.

  • Thanks for posting the vid, lots of great info. It just sucks that we live in such a sue happy time that you have to CYA and limit the info you provide.

  • Thank you for the video. Very well done. I shall now go suture an orange :]

  • Great video. My fathr was a doctor and I remember he teached me how to suture on turkeys whenever we went into the kitchen around christmas and got the "task" of closing them. Thanks for the info. Hospital always, but this would be a last resort. However, I have to ask: steristrips can work the same as stitches?
