this elephant in not being mistreated at all! in Thailand elephants are sacred and generally grow up and live their lives with one trainer. it almost without doubt will still be close to its mother...elephants , by nature are close to humans and are affectionate towards them....thank you for a great upload...screw the haters! x

I don't see the baby elephant being mistreated at all and I wish him and the person looking after him good luck!!!Lots of people here are overreacting and over dramatising.If you are so concern about animal welfare.Well close all zoos and other animal attaction in your own backyard and stop all the big industry behind the cutest genetically manufactured dogs breed.

its not work for the elephant to be cute, elephants are so cutteeee. However I agree that it was beaten and taken from its mommy. Even if its mother died from an incident elephants usually adopt and take care of the baby. There is no way that a whole elephant tribe died. These types of animals are hunted for many reasons, the babies are more precious alive for amusement purposes.

You guys are fucking stupid, do you know that? Stop acting like every fucking animal in captivity is beaten and treated like crap because it's not true. First of all, you have no idea why the baby isn't with it's mother, another thing is, animals can't be trained to portray feelings, if an elephant looks happy it most likely is happy. In all honesty I think all of you just need to shut up and consider not everyone in the world is a heartless animal beating bastard.
