Paul, Fiona, Natasha (11) and Lachlan (10)
Eleven year old Natasha made quite a dramatic entrance to the world -- born at just 26 weeks, her parents weren't even sure if she would survive. When Natasha was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, neither Fiona nor Paul knew much about the disability, and were told that Natasha may never walk. Fortunately, after some major spinal surgery Natasha was able to take her first independent steps at age six, and with ongoing help from Cerebral Palsy Alliance, she has continued to grow more independent. 'I try to look after her', says Natasha's brother Lachlan. Fiona adds, 'It's been an intense experience. But the grace with which she's gone through it all is amazing. We've learned a lot from her.'
