you did really awesome, but just so you know for them to use your video for the virtual choir you have to play the music with the beep before it, so that way they can sync everyone's voices to together. Sorry if this is unclear, but it tells you more about it on the site. ericwhitacre doht com

Thanks alot Jennifer ( have a daughter named Jennifer too). Your version of the Alto II part has been most helpful. I know it is over a year since the first version of Sleep was done with Eric Whitacre. I do hope you will be singing again with the virtual choir.

I looked this up since I am in an a-capella group and my conductor thought my sound was needed elsewhere. I was moved from an Alto 1 to a 2. It's not that big of a difference at first. When the harder parts come in, though, it's a toughy /:

altos rock! (although, I sing 1st alto)

but still, that was amazing! the lyrics are very clear the way you sing it, I love it!

You have a lovely voice.. I think altos don't get enough recognition, but without you the song wouldn't have the depth it does. :) I hope you keep singing.
