Young Girl Blues is one of Donovan's most soulful songs that has always haunted me from the first time I heard it. This video beautifully and poetically tunes into the essence of the song! Sad but true. It is better to be alone than be part of the charade.

@heehawluck1 Yes, they definitly are : ) I love Guinevere and Writer in the Sun. I've been listening to a lot of Donovan these days. I haven't heard a song from Donovan that I don't like. I really love his song Guinevere; it gives me shivers and brings tears to my eyes. You're definitly right about Donovan's lyrics being exceptional, and he's Scottish too, so proud : )

@JimMorrisonsWidow Yea ... but as I was saying, it really should be 'Lou Reed reminds me of Donovan'. Have you listened to any more of Donovans? 'Sand and Foam' is one I'd recommend, the lyrics are exceptionally good.
