Tim Russert was neither Democrat or Republican. He was the Consummate Journalist, who LOVED politics. He was HEADS above the other individuals whom cover this arena and the reason was becasue he NEVER chose a side in the debate. He only asked the questions that his fellow countrymen wanted an answer to.
It appears that you wished him harm and death for what you "considered" an unfair question poised to Hillary but others would say that by all means, was a fair question deserving an answer!
