@Booncier Hera would make more sense. Why does Artemis know about child birth or making.  Anyway I don't really think it matters, one of the major goddesses and aphrodite does have the love thing(and the bringing stuff to life history).

@Aberrant23 .....because Aphrodite was the patroness of the Amazons (at least in the comics) ...also, Aphrodite (in myth) has a history of bringing sculptures to life (as in Pygmalion and Galatea)

That's one thing about Wonder Woman's birth that always struck out to me as odd as a child. Wouldn't it make more sense for Queen Hippolyta to pray to the Goddess Artemis over Aphrodite to give her a newborn amazon baby o_O?
