Hello, it's been a while! The acoustic strings used in the original by OneRepublic inspired me to play this on piano. This one was fun-- no sheet music, just trying to be creative.

About the music...
"Secrets" is the second single released from OneRepublic's second studio album Waking Up. It was released as the first single in Germany and Austria instead of "All the Right Moves", which was released in all countries except for the two. Secrets was the first single there because it is the soundtrack for Til Schweiger's new film Zweiohrküken. The movie is the sequel to the film Keinohrhasen, for which "Apologize" was the film soundtrack. The song rocketed up the German and Austrian airplay charts and as of October 27 has hit #1 on the iTunes chart in Germany. The song was released in the United States iTunes Store on November 3, 2009. The song has had moderate success, staying at the top of the iTunes Rock chart for the week following its release.[4] The song was due for a UK release on April 5 but was pushed to June 1.

The song was also used in a promo video to promote the sixth season of ABC serial drama series Lost; the song was also included in a promotional video for the upcoming third season of In Plain Sight of USA Network. The song was recently featured in the end of the 14th episode from the third season of Gossip Girl titled The Lady Vanished. The song was also played during ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (TV series) series premier promo. The instrumentals for the song, both introduction and chorus, are featured in Apple's promotional video of the iPhone 4, entitled "This changes everything. Again." It was also featured in a parody of the iPhone 4 by Funny or Die. It's prominently used in the Disney film The Sorcerer's Apprentice. 'Secrets' is used as the theme song for the launch of Ralph Lauren's The Big Pony fragrance collection.

About the composer...
OneRepublic is an American, self proclaimed "genreless" band from Colorado Springs, Colorado.[1] Formed in 2002 by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins, the band achieved success on MySpace, becoming the most prominent un-signed act on the website. They signed onto Mosley Music Group in 2006, and released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud in 2007.
