Fairway Sports World has been around since 1955, and has now been bought out by a rug place for over $4.5 million. After May 20, this famous bowling center in Natick, MA, home of the famed WCVB/ABC show "Candlepin Bowling" for over a decade, will be no more.

@Timothy2035 yah i live in seattle and they have closed down most of the bowling alleys around here, its really sad. people just arent bowling as much as they use to because like you said computers, video gaming, that experiance you can now get while sitting in your own home. it sucks but there are still a few lanes left, just not my favorite ones lol, also it seems that no bowling alley want to oil thier lanes anymore only on league night because not enough customers.

Well that is unfortunate, but it seems most bowling lane places have closed across the country. Due mostly in part to video games in the home I believe. Well you made yourself quite a "champ" over the past few years and I hope maybe you can still find outlets for bowling and even become a recognized "pro bowler". :)
