Before I get any more comments that Hoda was out of line for discussing the value of the gift Lady GAGA presented to her and Kathie Lee, let me say that the Today Show is an NBC News production and news reporters are not allowed to accept gifts of any kind, (excepting those worth $25 or less) from people who are the subject of a story.

That explains why Hoda Kotb, a really graceful and smart woman (she's a Virginia Tech alum--Go Hokies!) kept saying its only worth $25, right, Lady GAGA?" Wink, Wink!

Hoda actually wanted to keep the really cool headphones especially since they were coming from LADY GAGA.

THAT IS THE ONLY REASON she kept insisting that it only costs $25. She wasn't being ungrateful or unappreciative.
